Worship God with us on Sunday.
8:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite One
10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite Two
Our worship service has rich historical significance. Over the centuries, Christianity has known it by several names, including the Divine Liturgy, the Mass, the Lord's Supper, and Holy Communion.
We are a diverse, multicultural, family church deeply connected to our neighborhood. Many of our parishioners grew up in Lakeside; some moved to Richmond from other states, while others grew up in different countries and settled in Richmond as adults. We are shop owners, executives, and tradespeople. You will also meet nurses, teachers, librarians, train engineers, professors, and artists. We range in age from in our eighties to younger than eight. Many of us converted to the Episcopal Church from other denominations: Quakers, Methodists, Roman Catholics, Mormons, and Baptists. Despite our differences, we all share a common identity: we are children of God who love our Church, work to forgive and be forgiven, strive to love our neighbors as ourselves, and follow in the way of Jesus.
We look forward to meeting you.
Epiphany is located at 8000 Hermitage Road in a wooded, dense suburban neighborhood called Lakeside. We are in metropolitan Richmond, specifically in Henrico County, north of the city line and east of Glen Allen. We are very close to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and not far from two major highways: I-95 and I-64. Lakeside has been voted one of the ten best places to live in Henrico County. Most of the 12,000 people in Lakeside own their own homes. There is a lot of ethnic and economic diversity in this part of Henrico County. Eleven public schools serve the neighborhoods of Lakeside. We have two neighborhood farmer's markets: The Bryan Park Farmer's Market and the Lakeside Farmer's Market.
Come explore this delightful section of Greater Richmond.
The mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. We live out our mission as we pray, worship, proclaim the Gospel, and do our part to promote justice, peace, and love.
Epiphany carries out our mission through the ministry of all our members, who represent Christ and his Church, bear witness to him wherever they may be, and, according to their gifts, carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world. Our ministry groups have helped many people discern and discover their calling. Dive in and see where God is leading you!
At Epiphany, we warmly welcome all seekers—whether you’re experienced in Christianity or just beginning your journey of faith. We offer a variety of opportunities for exploration. A great starting point is our Sunday Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. Join a small group in the parlor for engaging discussions that connect Scripture to our lives today. You might also consider getting involved with one of our outreach ministries, where we put our faith into action. We invite you to attend our Sunday worship services, where you can discover how we worship God with our whole selves—body and soul. Afterwards, stay for coffee and continue the conversation!

Epiphany has a large diaper distribution ministry that helps families of infants in our neighborhood. We also have a homeless feeding ministry, participate in a local food bank, provide free blood pressure screenings, and partner with the neighborhood elementary school to help children in need. You don't need to be a member of Epiphany to help us in any of these ministries. We welcome everyone who wants to help us help our neighbors.
