Epiphany distributes free diapers on the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This inspirational ministry has been touching family lives in our community since 2018 and continues to welcome new families each month. Help our ministry by buying and donating diapers, or donate your time on a Third Saturday morning. Contact: Crystal Sarvay.
Epiphany's parish nurse, Crystal Sarvay, R.N., uses her gifts and training to serve our church and the community. On the first Sunday of every month, at 11:45 a.m., Nurse Sarvay holds blood pressure screenings in the parlor. Drop by the church and have your blood pressure checked. This service is open to all and free of charge. Contact: Crystal Sarvay, R.N.
Epiphany supports LAMB's Basket, the Lakeside neighborhood food bank, which fights food insecurity and provides food to those in need. Food is given out on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at 8419 Oakview Ave. Donate cereals, peanut butter, jellies, and canned food every Sunday during worship. Donate your time by signing up for a shift at LAMB's Basket. Contact: Gray and Frosine Corbett
Join us as we make lunch for people experiencing homelessness. Epiphany has multiple teams that purchase food, prepare bagged lunches, and deliver them on Saturday mornings. Donations of paper lunch bags, sandwich bags, and napkins are always welcome and can be dropped off at the parish office. Contact: Mary Sam Abernathy
Take what you need. Leave what you can. The Blessing Box is at the church's entrance. Items are available at no cost to the community. The Blessing Box contains a variety of things: toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, school supplies, small toys, canned goods, pasta rice, and granola bars. Contact: John Sarvay.
Our youth, parents, and educators came up with the idea for our Little Free Library. It includes some of the books that have been challenged by school systems in our area. We also include Spanish-language books and Bibles in both English and Spanish. Book donations can be left in the book bag outside the parish office. Contact: Ezra Axselle
