All gifts are used to support Epiphany's ministries.

All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above

Whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:6

Walk in Love: Annual Pledge Campaign

When you make a proportional gift:

  • You set aside your first fruits, dedicating a portion of your wealth, works, and wisdom to God. This is a sacred act.
  • Your financial gift rises and falls with your income - it is right-sized to your household.

Giving back to God is not a one-time act; it's a lifetime journey.

Altar Flowers

Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God for our weekly Sunday Holy Eucharist services. They are usually given by parishioners in celebration of a life event, for example, a wedding anniversary or the birth of a child. They can also be donated in memory of someone who has died. To contribute to flowers, please place a cheque into the offering plate with a notation on the memo line saying, "Flowers." To schedule a date when you'd like to donate the flowers for worship, please contact the parish office.

Epiphany has a longstanding relationship with Coleman Brothers Florists in Lakeside.

Rector's Discretionary Fund

At Epiphany, we have a special fund called the Rector's Discretionary Fund, which the priest can use at their discretion to provide financial assistance to those in need. This fund is primarily fueled by the offerings on one Sunday of the month, which are not in fulfillment of a pledge to the church, as required by church law. We also encourage and appreciate additional donations to this fund, as it is a testament to our shared responsibility and commitment to helping those in need.

Discretionary funds are parish funds, not personal funds. They are subject to the parish audit and reported to the parish. Money from this fund can neither be used for personal items nor parish operating expenses. The Rector's Discretionary Fund is an alms fund solely intended for the benefit of the poor and needy. If you would like to make a donation specifically to the Rector's Discretionary Fund, please make a special note of that on your cheque or online donation.
